- Today June 6, 2018 is the D-Day to unravel the real faces of a cartel that is dragging backward the fortunes of football in the country
- Most Ghanaians are anxious to see who the faces are and what roles they played in the "Number 12 " exposé
Several Ghanaians are in anxious spirits ahead of Anas Aremeyaw Anas’ explosive exposé to be premiered later today.
Hundreds of Ghanaians are expected to throng the Accra International Conference Center at 3, 5, 8 and 10pm respectively to have a first-hand view of the recorded rot and corruption being perpetrated in our football and politics.
Anas also already revealed that his latest piece, titled ‘Number 12’ is “focused on local leagues, referees, club owners, coaches and the higher reaches of the football administration in Ghana, as well as its connection to continental and global football”.
Ahead of the premier, many have taken to social media to express eagerness about the exposé.
This sort of anxiousness has been boosted by people’s eagerness to witness what exactly Ghana Football Association (GFA) president Kwesi Nyantakyi and other top football officials did.
It would be remembered that President Akufo-Addo ordered the arrest and subsequent interrogation of Nyantakyi after watching excerpts of the exposé.
Nyantakyi is reported to have used the President’s name to negotiate deals with supposed foreign investors, who turned out to be part of Anas’ investigative team.
Below are some reactions from Ghanaians on social media ahead of the premiering of “Number 12”.
