- It's been revealed that Lawyer Kwaku Ayiah and Mr J.F Mensah are two men who stood out throughout the Anas investigation on corruption in Ghana Football
- These GFA duo, in the yet to be aired Anas exposé consistently refused to take any money or inducement of any form to influence match outcomes both as Match Commissioners and Officials
It has been revealed that two Executive Committee members of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) were honest enough to reject bribes in the upcoming exposé about corruption in football.
The two have been identified as lawyer Kweku Eyiah and John Frederick (JF) Mensah.
The state-owned Daily Graphic reports that the pair are the two men who stood up against being bribed in the exposé titled which will be premiered today and tomorrow.
Both men resisted the attempts to be compromised during a sting operation by Anas and his Tiger Eye PI team to uncover corruption in Ghanaian football.
Eyiah is currently the Management Committee Chairman of the national U-17 team, having led the Black Starlets to the 2017 U-17 World Cup in India.
Mensah is also a representative in the Ghana Premier League and has been acting as a match commissioner for years.
Investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas is set to premier his latest expose, titled ‘Number 12’, at the Accra International Conference Center.
Already, GFA boss Kwesi Nyantakyi has been caught up in the exposé, which led to President Akufo-Addo ordering his arrest.
This was after it was disclosed that Nyantakyi used the names of the President and other top government officials to negotiate deal with supposed foreign investors, who turned out to be members of Anas’ undercover team.
Several more GFA officials are expected to be exposed when the video is publicly telecast later today.
The latest report, though, exonerates Kweku Eyiah and John Frederick – both of whom came out of the exposé as honourable men.
