The Greater Accra Regional football association chairman, Eddie Doku, has been caught up in the upcoming exposé receiving cash to influence player selection in the Black Stars B team.
The influential FA member was captured red-handed receiving money and agreeing to influence game time for a player during last year’s 2017 WAFU Zone B tournament.
In the video, Doku took a bundle of cash and agreed to help Hearts of Oak winger Patrick Winger get much playing time during the tournament.
Having served as the Chairman of the Black Stars B management committee, he used his power to influence the technical handlers of the team to play Razak more.
Although the Razak became one of the tournament’s best performers, it has now been revealed that Doku benefited financially from the Hearts of Oak player’s participation.
To avoid suspicion, Doku divided the money he took into his left and right pockets, before handing the wrapping back to the Tiger Eye undercover reporter.
Already, the exposé, titled ‘Number 12’, has led to the interrogation of GFA boss Kwesi Nyantakui, who is reported to have used President Akufo-Addo’s name to negotiate deals with foreign investors.
The investigative piece is expected to expose more top GFA officials when it is premiered later today at the Accra International Conference Center.
