Manchester United signed Porto defender Diogo Dalot from Porto in a five-year deal worth $29 million on Wednesday, June 6.
Described by Jose Mourinho as "the best young full back in Europe" the 19-year-old has been on the Red Devils radar for a while since making his debut for Porto in October 2017.
Dalot's stunning performance at the back has earned him call ups to the Portugal national side from under-15 to the under -21 level.
Speaking to BBC Sport following the momentous move to Old Trafford, the young Portuguese said he was thrilled to have been signed by a topflight English Premier League club.
"The chance of coming to the biggest club in the world is something I just couldn't turn down," said Dalot.
It looks like Mourinho means business come the start of the 2018/19 Premier League season.
