The long wait is over and the first show of the Anas Aremeyaw Anas documentary on corruption in Ghana football is underway at the Accra International Conference Centre.
A lot has been revealed already in the Anas exposé but in this article YEN.com.gh’s focus is on wife of embattled Ghana Football Association, Kwesi Nyantakyi.
Mrs. Christine-Marie Nyantakyi has called on the Almighty God ahead of the Anas Aremeyaw Anas video exposé dubbed #Number12.
Her prayer ahead of the premiere was that her husband will not be implicated.
“MAY THE BLOOD OF JESUS THAT SPEAKS BETTER THINGS THAN ABEL SPEAKS TODAY,” she wrote these words on her Facebook timeline according to Zionfelix.net
But it seems her prayers were not head because Mr. Nyantakyi featured prominently in the documentary, he was seen taking money in a black polythene bag.
“Nyantekyi packs cash into polythene bag after convincing him he will provide access to highest level of office in Ghana,” Journalist Michael Oti Adjei tweeted as he viewed the first premiere.
The much-awaited video premiere of an investigative work by journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas, started airing on Wednesday at the Accra International Conference Center.
It follows three weeks of anxious waiting by Ghanaians whose attention had been heightened by President Akufo Addo, who - after being shown portions of the video in advance - reported the GFA boss to the Police CID for alleged defrauding by false pretenses.
