Controversial Ghanaian musician, Charles Nii Armah Mensah, aka Shatta Wale has disclosed that there will be order and discipline in Ghana if he becomes President.
According to the dancehall artiste, he is not happy about the current state of Ghana’s development agenda.
Speaking in a Facebook Live video, Shatta Wale, who was clearly upset, bemoaned the lackadaisical attitude of Ghanaians towards beautifying the environment.
To him, if the white man was still in charge of the reins of governance, Ghana would be more developed than its present state.
The outspoken musician in his frustrations cited South Africa, as one country that has beautiful environment because the colonial masters managed affairs of that country for a longer period.
“See black man. Black man no dey fit keep e own things well. You go white man e country, you go see things. Go see South Africa. Mandela said ‘let the white people stay here and do their work….”
“Ghana we dey here. No place fine. Ghana no fine. Forget them. Our leaders, dem for wake up. Ebe disgrace. We know too much,” Shatta Wale said in pidgin English.
The musician in his submission, stressed that he is more capable and has what it takes to redirect the country’s development agenda.
"Make dem get me, President Shatta, make I rule the country. Like I go break people dema houses. Because if you dey plane inside, the way you see the houses, like nkokor binnn,” he said.
Shatta Wale’s outburst is believed to be as a result of Ghana’s poor sanitation that has been one of the biggest problems in Ghana.
However, President, Akufo-Addo, since his assumption of power has vowed to make Accra the cleanest city in West Africa.
