- President Akufo-Addo has interacted with Anas Aremeyaw Anas following the premiere of Number 12
- He expressed his surprise at the claims made by GFA President, Kwesi Nyantakyi

Information available to YEN.com.gh suggests that President Akufo-Addo has reacted to some claims made by the President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Kwesi Nyantakyi.
According to a report by rainbowradioonline.com, he expressed his dismay at statements allegedly made by Nyantakyi concerning funds secured for the 2016 elections.
The GFA President is reported to have stated that President Akufo-Addo is cash-strapped, as he sold family property in order to fund his campaign.
Nyantakyi further added that the president’s siblings have been demanding for money from him, therefore giving him $5 million will be of great help to him.
Speaking to investigative journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas, the president expressed surprise at the comments made by Nyantakyi.
He went on to say that he knows nothing about such a situation, and as such Nyantakyi’s comments are false.
On Wednesday, June 6, 2018, some Ghanaians had the opportunity to watch Number 12, the latest investigative work by the Anas-led Tiger Eye PI team.
At the moment, Nyanatayi is being investigated with respect to his role in the scandal.
