One time hitmaker, Patapaa, has hit hard at ace broadcaster, Nana Aba Anamoah, over comments circulating on social media that he and his manager has demanded money as a precondition to support the campaign against the abuse of tramadol.
Nana Aba Anamoah had written in one of her posts that the'One Corner' hitmaker and his manager have requested for cash before they could endorse a campaign against the abuse the popular pain-killing drug.
“Patapaa and his manager say until they’re paid “Patapaa will not add his voice to the campaign against the abuse of tramadol,” Nana Aba tweeted.
Meanwhile, Patapaa who now wants to be known as Patapeezy, said he was approached by a lady who requested that he endorses a concept he and his manager had no idea of hence his refusal.
He continued that the lady didn't even show any effort at really getting his endorsement.
However, Adomonline.com has reported that Patapaa's manager, Gershon Mortey has also confirmed the artist’s position, saying Nana Aba Anamoah hasn’t made any contact to ask his camp to engage in “Abuse of Tramadol” campaign hence finds it difficult to understand why she would put up such a post to defame his artiste.
“Nana Aba has not called me or sent anyone to inform me on an abuse of tramadol campaign. She could have used the right channel to reach me so we talk about that,”Mr Mortey explained to Adomonline.com in an interview.
Patapaa arrived in Ghana this week to a rousing welcome by his fans at the airport. Prior to his arrival, photos of him and a white lady had circulated online with reports suggesting she was his girlfriend.
