Maverick politician, Kennedy Agyapong, has hinted of showing a documentary of the investigative journalist taking bribes and acting against the very ideals he always stands for.
This move by Kennedy Agyapong follows an earlier assurance he gave in reaction to the premiering of the corruption video aired about the Ghana Football Association (GFA).
So far, the time for the premiering of this video by Kennedy Agyapong will be aired on the politician's television station - Net 2 TV - on Friday, June 8 at exactly 12:20 GMT.
The video, which is termed, 'Who Watches the Watchman', is aimed at revealing the corrupt side of Anas Aremeyaw Anas
Kennedy Agyapong has expressed his resolve to expose the nature of Anas. The maverick politician started by unveiling the identity of the journalist by dropping his pictures on television.
A committee has been set up by parliament to investigate cases of corruption at the Ghana Football Association (GFA).
Speaker of Parliament, Prof. Mike Oquaye, says this special committee will look into the bribery revelations shown in a documentary by an undercover journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas.
The President of the republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo, has dissolved the Ghana Football Association (GFA).
Just 25 hours after the premiering of the explosive video by the investigative journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas, the president ordered for all activities within the association to be suspended with immediate effect.
In fact, the video by Anas saw Kwesi Nyantaki grabbing wads of dollars which totals $65,000 from investors who wish to win road contracts from the president and his vice.
The relevance for this committee has been questioned especially when Ghanaians are so angry at the GFA following the revelation by Anas Aremeyaw Anas.
Meanwhile, the embattled president of the dissolved GFA, Kwesi Nyantakyi is bound to be thrown in prison based on such drastic action by the president.
From the look of things, the presidency is terrible mad about the stench of corruption at the football association and thinks the best way to uproot this rot is by collapsing the entire association.
