Anas demanded $150 million from Nyantakyi to drop the exposé - Ken Agyapong

- The Assin Central MP has threatened to sink Anas further when he meets him in court

The Member of Parliament (MP), for Assin Central, Kennedy Ohene Agaypong appears to have intensified his ‘fight’ against investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas, over his latest exposé.

The New Patriotic Party (NPP), MP has vowed to strip Anas Aremeyaw Anas of what he describes as his corrupt nature in line of his investigative work.

Kennedy Agyapong has alleged that the journalist is the most corrupt media practitioner in Ghana, as he demands huge sums of cash from many of his victims and set them free, while he sacrifices others for their inabilities to meet his financial demands.

The controversial NPP man speaking on Accra-based Asempa FM insisted that Anas is nothing but a blackmailer, an extortionist and a criminal who needs to be hanged to death for perpetrating a lot of havoc on his victims and costing them their jobs.

The MP who was speaking from China stressed that he has in his possession many more video evidence to buttress his allegations of Anas being a blackmailer when he meets him in court.

Mr Agyapong in a fresh allegations claimed that, Anas was demanded an amount of $150 million from GFA boss, Kwesi Nyantakyi so he will drop the tape against him.

However, Anas has brought legal suit against the outspoken for defaming and making libelous comments against him, in his bid to fight corruption menace in Ghana.

The undercover journalist is seeking reliefs including general damages to the sum of Ghc25,000 against Mr Agyapong.

Meanwhile, the controversial Assin MP has threatened to demand from the court to allow Anas take off his hood when the two meet in court.
