YEN.com.gh is in possession of a photo which appears to show popular sports presenter, Countryman Songo, allegedly mocking Kwesi Nyantakyi.
In the photo, the former ‘Fire for Fire’ presenter is seen with his mouth wide open and his tongue sticking out.
Wearing a black singlet and spectacles, he appears to be full of excitement as the photo is taken.
This photo comes on the heels of the resignation of Kwesi Nyantakyi from his position as president of the Ghana Football Association (GFA).
Social media users had a field day when they joined Countryman Songo to express their excitement. One user chanted Songo's popular slogan:
Another user opted for symbolism, and represented his comments with fire.
A third chose to remind others of yet another popular saying of the iconic journallist.
This social media user however, feeling sorry for Nyantakyi called for a ceasefire.
Kwesi Nyantakyi's resignation also followed a ban from all football-related activities by FIFA, the world football governing body.
This was as a result of revelations from the latest investigative work by the Anas Aremeyaw Anas-led Tiger Eye PI team.
The video allegedly showed Kwesi Nyantakyi engaged in acts of bribery and corruption with respect to football.
