Ghanaian-born Dutch football star Memphis Depay is in Ghana for the holidays. The Olympique Lyon attacker is reportedly in the country to familiarise himself with the culture and people.
However, education is not the only reason the former Manchester United player is Ghana. As a recent video has shown, Depay is not going to miss out on the fun that Ghana brings.
The player is seen in the video dancing joyously to Bisa K'dei's "Azonto Ghost" on a beach. The exact location is not known to us but checks reveal that it should be somewhere in Accra.
Memphis Depay was born in the Netherlands to a Dutch mother and a Ghanaian father. According to his narration of his life's story, his parents broke up but he was raised up by his mother in the Netherlands.
He came through the ranks at football club, PSV Eindhoven and joined Manchester United in 2015. It was a rather forgettable experience with Red Devils and so he was shipped off to France to join Lyon. He has since been brilliant for the former French champions.
Depay joins Danny Welbeck in coming to Ghana in recent times for summer holidays. Last year, the Arsenal forward was in the country to spend time with family and do charity work.
