Nyantakyi wanted to become the president of Ghana one day

-A former minister has revealed some of Kwesi Nyantakyi's future aspirations

-He said the embattled former Ghana Football Association president had ambition of becoming the president of Ghana

Former Minister for Youth and Sports, Mr.Nii Lantey Vanderpuy, made a new revelation about embattled former Ghana Football Association president, Mr. Kwesi Nyantakyi.

The minister has revealed that Kwesi Nyantakyi had an ambition of becoming the President of Ghana one day, and so, he (Vanderpuy) was not surprised of the things Nyantakyi said such as taking over the whole country in the Tiger Eye Pi documentary.

The former minister also noted during an interview with Esther Abankwa on Angel TV's "On the Turf" that a close friend of Kwesi Nyantakyi revealed to him of his intentions.

"I was told by a very reliable source that Kwesi Nyantakyi had the Presidential ambition, so I was not surprised at all when he was caught in the Anas documentary saying that he would be doing politics in the next two years," Nii Lantey Vanderpuye said.

After the expose was premiered at the AICC, several developments have occurred in the football circles, the GFA President Kwesi Nyantakyi has resigned, all football activities in Ghana have been halted and the government has started a process to dissolve the Ghana Football Association.

Reports on other media platforms also indicate that the Ghana Police Service has taken over the GFA Premises.

Anas' 'Number 12' premiered on Wednesday, June 6, at the Accra International Conference Center, running 4 screenings at 3pm, 5pm, 8pm and 10pm.

The exposé captured the GFA President Kwesi Nyantakyi, among many other officials of the football governing body in Ghana and match officials who according to the title of the expose have become the number twelve players who influence the outcome of games.

The video also revealed that they influence selection of players and divert funds meant for sponsorship, but the likes of JF Mensah and Kweku Eyiah passed the test by rejecting the monies given them as bribes.
