The MP for Assin Central, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong has bragged of his team of lawyers who can help him fight a lawsuit thrown at him. The MP has been sued for defamation by investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas.

According to the journalist, certain pronouncements of Agyapong about him (Anas) amounted to maligning his character. Anas therefore wants a court of law to award him GHc25 million in damages.

The legislator proceeded to talk about how much the sum of GHc25 million meant to him:

“I am not afraid of him and I display cash. GH¢25 million I sit on that s**t. I will face him in court with my evidence. He denied the images that were making the rounds were not him so which ghost took me to court. I pity his lawyer”.

“I have every evidence to back the allegations I have made against him. I am ready for him in court. It is a way to prevent people to stop discussing about him. He is evil. Do you know how people are suffering because of him”.

Agyapong has dimissed the lawsuit as laughable. But he also mentioned that he is yet to be served.
