The MP allegedly released a snippet of his ‘response’ which he titled ‘Who Watches the Watchman.’
His video, which is allegedly 40 seconds long, was met with criticism, as a cross-section of Ghanaians argued it wasn’t enough to proof Anas was involved in bribery and corruption.
Veteran Ghanaian journalist Kweku Baako Jnr, disclosed that Agyapong’s tape is actually a part of an investigation conducted by Anas in the year 2009.
He added that the case was that of a $7.5m gold scam involving Hafix and Mubarak who are Kennedy Agyepong’s star witnesses.
He also stated that the tape was handed over to the police and subsequently to the Attorney-General’s department.
The MP however argued that his present evidence is only a tip of the iceberg, as he is ready to reveal more about Anas’ activities.
Speaking on Asempa FM on Monday, June 11 2018, he said that Anas, as well as those defending him will flee Ghana by the time he is done with them.
