A young Kenyan lady has died after undergoing surgery for a breast enlargement.
Julie Wanza wanted to make amendments to her breast and so went to the Keren hospital to get her breasts fixed.
However, the operation did not go according to plan and she ended up losing her life in the process.
Reports indicate that when she went to the Nairobi Hospital for review, doctors discovered that her intestines had been cut or punctured in the first surgery, apparently a fat transfer augmentation.
This led to a decrease in her blood pressure, which later affected her health and ultimately led to her death.
“Because her intestines were cut, all the waste was seeping out and spreading inside the stomach. That caused an infection called sepsis. Doctors battled to save her life on Friday but she died from the infection,” a family member of the deceased is quoted as saying by the Star.
It has become a common practice among women in this part of the world to go in for breast augmentation.

The most common methods include the use of silicon or saline implants into the breast.
In the case of Julie Wanda, it is possible that the doctor that performed the breast enlargement surgery on her may not have been qualified.
The deceased is set to be buried on Saturday, the family confirmed.
