The Former Managing Director of the Bulk Oil Storage and Transport Company (BOST) Alfred Obeng has expressed his appreciation to President Akufo-Addo in a letter.
According to a report by MyNewsGH.com, he also stated that he is ready to offer his expertise in any area of service.
Together with the heads of the Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority, the Korlebu Teaching Hospital and The Ghana Export Promotion Authority (GEPA), Obeng was relieved of his position at BOST.
His exit sparked outrage as various groups emerged and expressed their support for him.
One of them, the Nzemaland Development Association, led by Maame Ama Nyankopa, accused President Akufo-Addo of acting in bad faith.
She went ahead to say that he appears to be favouring people from his tribe.
In his letter, Obeng expressed his appreciation to the president for the opportunity given him to serve.
He also stated expressed his readiness to accept the decision of the president and urged his colleagues to do same.
He also cautioned the various groups that rose to support him to exercise restraint, so that nothing is done to undermine the government.
