While management cited 'strategic reasons' for him being off air, close sources suggested Songo had been suspended for his regular 'attacks' on Nyantakyi.
Nyantakyi, the reports added, had asked Multimedia, the operators of Adom TV, to stop Songo or have him sue the station.
The management obliged and brought in Kobby Stone as a substitute but with Nyantakyi out of the GFA after the revelations from Anas Aremeyaw Anas' Number 12 investigative piece, Countryman Songo, born Patrick Osei Agyemang, seems to have been vindicated.
