Real Madrid and Portugal international Cristiano Ronaldo is now said to have agreed to pay £16.5m fine after tax fraud case for a two-year jail term to be suspended.

Since the superstar was accused of tax fraud by the Spanish authority, Ronaldo has been seeking an agreement with all the bodies concerned.

Last year after the accusation, Ronaldo was said to have offered around £12.9m, but was rejected by the government.

And according to the latest report by UK Sun, Cristiano Ronaldo has admitted four charges of fraud and will pay mega amount to the Spanish authority.

The latest development means Cristiano Ronaldo can now put the issue behind him and focus on his campaign with Portugal in the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

He is expected to lead Portugal against Spain in their Group B opener on Friday night, July 15, at the 2018 FIFA World Cup championship.
