Egypt suffered a stoppage time heartbreak on Friday, June 15 during the second match of the 2018 World Cup played at the Ekaterinburg Arena in Yekaterinburg.
Jose Gimenez fired Uruguay to victory, with his 89th minute goal sealing all the three points for Oscar Tabarez's men.

Egypt star forward Mo Salah did not feature during the tie despite being declared fit by head coach Hector Cuper who went on to name the Liverpool ace in the final squad to face Uruguay.
Following their crucial win, Uruguay are second in Group A, with hosts Russia topping the group that includes Saudi Arabia who they demolished 5-0 in the tournament's opening match.
The Pharaohs will be looking to make amends in their subsequent matches against Russia and Saudi Arabia.
