Former Korle-bu boss allegedly ransacks his office after dismissal

- The dismissed CEO of Korle-bu Teaching hospital has allegedly packed out all items from his office

The immediate past Chief Executive Officer of Korle-bu Teaching Hospital (KBTH), Dr. Felix Anyaah has reportedly ransacked his office upon his removal from office.

According to an Adomonline.com report, Dr Anyaah has allegedly packed out all items from his office, including air conditioners and door locks following the termination of his contract.

The actions of the medical practitioner according to host of Adom FM’s anti-corruption show, Fabewoso, Kofi Adomah has upset a number of Korle-bu workers, as some are disappointed in the former CEO.

To the surprise of many, Dr. Anyaah is also said to have removed a television set bought for the Out Patients Department (ODP), fridge and even flowers and furniture meant for the conference room.

But the renowned doctor has debunked the media speculations, adding that the items he is accused of taking home, were items he personally took to his office for refurbishment and not as donations.

Dr Anyaah responding to some Korle-bu workers in a Facebook comment, expressed disappointments over the assertions adding that, “I never donated my office furniture, fridge, TV, flowers for conference room.”

The former CEO in an explanation outlined that the items he donated to the hospital while on post has been left behind.

“The ones I donated to Korle-bu was food van, motorbike, air conditions and beds,” he said in a post.

Dr. Anyaah, who is the founder and owner of Holy Trinity Medical Centre and Spa & was appointed in June 1, 2017 as the CEO of Korle-bu.

He took over from Dr Samuel Asiamah who was the acting CEO of the hospital following the self-termination of service by Dr Gilbert Buckle.

The reasons for the termination of his appointment are not immediately known, although his contract terminating has come in the wake of seeming waves of dismissal of CEOs of state agencies by President Akufo-Addo.

Meanwhile, Dr Felix Anyaah has since clarified that he was not sacked as widely reported by the section of the media.

Dr Anyaah in his explanation, maintained that his contract was terminated by the President due to his retirement age.
