Lovers cause controversy on social media as their blood covenant video leaks online

- A video of a man and a woman proving their love for each other with a blood covenant has sparked online debate

- The video which was posted on Facebook has since gone viral with many people expressing their views over it

A new video of a couple which has gone viral on the internet has generated a lot of attention owing to the fact that they were seen exchanging vows in a very bizarre way – through a blood covenant.

The two lovebirds were seen in the video taking a blood oath to seal their love and they did it for the whole world to see by leaking it online.

Reports have indicated that the video might have originated from Cameroon since the couple were alleged to be Cameroonians.

According to the two people captured in the video, the blood covenant was the only appropriate way to prove their love for each other.

The video which was posted on Facebook by one Sule Buba, has got lots of people on social media talking.

Although the lovebirds were heard speaking in an inaudible language, it could be deciphered that the woman was not in support of the idea judging by the look on her face.

She however went ahead with the oath because she wanted to prove to her lover that she truly loved him.

The act has been described by many as old-fashioned and a detrimental to their relationship and that of others.

Surprisingly, the man in the video has come out to defend his action despite the effect the act could have on both of them should they break up.

Many social media users who have watched the video have described it as very ‘useless’ and ‘demonic’.
