Drug baron Nayele Ametefe also known as Ruby Adu-Gyamfi has been released from jail in the UK after she was busted for carrying drug.
According to Starrfmonline.com, Nayele is back to Austria, her second country.
The Ghanaian who has Austrian citizenship was convicted January 6, 2015 for transporting cocaine to the UK and was sentenced to eight years and eight months jail term.
She was convicted on her own plea by the Isleworth Crown Court in the UK.
Accra based Starr FM is reporting that she will not return to Ghana anytime soon. Her family says she will be in Austria “to live a quiet live.”
In the late 2014/2015, Nayele Ghana’s Kotoka Airport’s VVIP Lounge to smuggle prohibited substance outside the shores of the West African country via a British Airways flight.
She was caught with about 12.5kg of cocaine with a street value of 1.9 million Pounds. She was reported to have had on her $23, 000 and 6000 Pounds at the time of her arrest.
Nayele, was arrested on November 10, 2014 at the Heathrow Airport in the United Kingdom by officers of the UK Border Force with 12.5 kg of cocaine worth $5million in her hand luggage.
The 33-year-old who pleaded guilty to charges of cocaine to the United Kingdom and was sentenced on her own plea by the Isleworth Crown Court in London in January 2015.
