-According to her, it was because she was told she resembled the late Suzzy Williams
- She added that she has been acting since the year 2000
Rising Ghanaian actress, Rosemond Brown, has spoken about the reason for which she became an actress.
According to a report by MyNewsGH.com, Brown, also known as Akuapem Polo, stated that claims that she resembled the late actress, Suzzy Williams, compelled her to consider acting as a career.
She further stated on the Delay Show that she convinced herself she will one day be as popular as the late movie star, hence her decision to venture into the industry.
Akuapem Polo said she took the steps into realizing her dream when she spotted a poster advertising for actors and actresses somewhere in 2010.
She has however in recent times been the subject of some controversial issues in Ghana.
In an earlier report by YEN.com.gh, she took to social media to express her sadness at words used against her by Ghanaian actor, Prince David Osei.
Osei wondered why the organizers of an event had decided to invite Brown to present an award, as she had challenges with her English.
She again took social media by storm when she allegedly stated that musician Medikal had taken advantage of her. She later came out to say that she lied about the incident.
