Asamoah Gyan is not in my league – Shatta Wale

Social media users have ‘attacked’ dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale for comparing himself to Ghanaian footballer, Asamoah Gyan.

In an interview with Zylofon FM, he added that he will have been a better footballer compared to Asamoah Gyan, but for music.

This did not go down well with social media users who took him to the cleaners:

Shatta Wale is one of Ghana's most popular dancehall artists.

The musician shot up to fame in 2004 with his hit single "Bandana from Ghana", which made tremendous hits on the Ghanaian airwaves.

His influence with his large fan base makes him one of Ghana’s highly favored celebrities.
