Ken Agyapong to premiere video against Anas on June 27

- Kennedy Agyapong has disclosed that he will show his evidence of corruption against Anas on June 27

- Agyapong's video dubbed 'Who watches the watchman' will also be shown at venues across the country after the premiere at the forecourt of Oman FM in Accra

Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Mr Kennedy Agyapong has announced a date for the premiere of his supposed video evidence against investigative journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas.

According to him, the video which he has dubbed as “Who watches the watchman” on Wednesday June 27 at the forecourt of Oman FM, at Madina in Accra.

The video, which he says is his own version of secret recordings of how ace investigative journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas, operates undercover, will be shown at 7pm.

Making the announcement on Oman FM’s Boiling Point on Thursday night which was monitored by Graphic Online , Ken Agyapong maintained that he was against the modus operandi of the ace investigative journalist.

He promised his video will vindicate his stance on the matter and that it would be a happy moment for patrons at the forecourt of Oman FM when the video is shown.

According to Mr Agyapong, once Anas has made it his business to expose other people, he also, has to be exposed and that, he [Agyapong] was planning to go to Kumasi and other areas in Ghana to show “Who watches the watchman.”

He argued that after watching the Kwesi Nyantakyi documentary, it was evidently clear that a lot of editing went on to suit Anas’ agenda since the conversation in the video was not allowed to play.

However, with the “Who watches the watchman” video, Mr Agyapong said viewers would be given the opportunity to listen to the conversations that went on to be able to draw the lines as to who was a clean man.

“I don’t want to lie,” he said and hinted that viewers would be seeing an interaction between Anas and a state prosecutor.

According to him, he was aware Anas always record everything and questioned if he has the same recording of the interaction between himself [Anas] and the female state attorney.

Asked by the host of the programme, Kwabena Kwakye about how he obtained the recording, Mr Agyapong, amidst smiles, said, that was why the video is dubbed, “Who watches the watchman.”
