- Emmanuel Adebayor has assured Patapeezy of his support for his music no matter what the world thinks of him
- Patapeezy became the center for discussion after a colleague musician, Kuame Eugene said in an interview that he will never feature him because he produces noise as music
Togo international Emmanuel Adebayor has thrown his support behind Patapaa Amisty, now known as Patapeezy, advising the artiste not to pay attention to his detractors.
The Swedru-based artiste has recently been in the news after his style of music was downplayed by colleague musician Kuami Eugene.
Speaking on RythmzLive, Kuami Eugene said the “one corner” hit maker is too ‘noisy” and that he would never do a collaboration with him.
“Patapaa said he needs me on a song, he’s calling me for a feature and I said ‘no’, because I’m not ready.
“People shouldn’t wait. It’s never going to happen, Patapaa’s kind of songs are not me, he makes too much noise,” the VMGA Highlife Artiste of The Year added.
Although Kuami Eugene later apologized and explained that his words were taken out of context, he has since come under intense criticism.
Reacting to the buzz, Adebayor has leapt to the defense of Patapeezy, saying he will continue to support the singer.
In a video posted on Instagram, the former Arsenal striker said Patapeezy is the best artiste, whiles advising him to stay focused.
