Dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale, has dropped a message for critics who often demonize him. This message was contained in an Instagram post which saw the artiste coming hard against social media critics who believe he is immoral and less of a Christian.
Shatta Wale, in his message to "churchgoers", argued that he is closer to God than some Christians "in church now praying for a change in life".
The Dancehall musician sparked controversies over the week after a leaked adult tape of him made rounds on social media. Shatta Wale, having recognized his wrong, took to social media and apologized to the management of Zylofon for the incident.
In a quick reaction video, the controversial musician has insisted he was not in the one in the video explaining that someone used his Snapchat account to upload it.
“For the unfortunate display of obscenity on my personal Snapchat platform on Tuesday, June 19 – a material that was mistakenly posted by one of my associates, I apologize to the people of Ghana for such unpleasant exhibition.
I apologize to all SM fans who felt and still feel slighted by such a move.
My sincere apology to my label, Zylofon Music and also to all my Corporate Partners.
The brand Shatta Wale is a law-abiding one; one that will not do anything untoward to bring it and its partners into disrepute. The brand would also not do anything to affect the sensibilities of the large following and support it commands," Shatta's full apology read.
