- Patapaa has reacted to Shatta Wale’s ‘adult’ video which broke the internet some days ago
- He insisted that there was no way Shatta Wale would do anything untoward to affect his brand
- Patapaa hinted that the video did not show faces so it was wrong to attribute it to his ‘father’ Shatta Wale
Swedru-based artiste and 2018 VGMA nominee, Patapaa Amisty, has reacted to a recent ‘adult’ video purported to be that of dancehall act, Charles Nii Armah Mensah, popularly known as Shatta Wale which went viral.
Patapaa has jumped to the defense of Shatta Wale and quashed the alegations brought against him by a section of social media users in the country.
Describing the video as a ‘social media hype’, Patapaa stressed that Shatta Wale was incapable of such an inappropriate act.
His argument was based on the fact that the ‘Ayoo’ singer represented so many top brands and companies and he was not going to do anything to bring his name and that of the people he represented into disrepute.
The ‘One Corner’ singer held the assertion that the video was doctored to incriminate his ‘father’ Shatta Wale.
He then added that the ‘Dem Cofuse’ singer should not have owned up and publicly apologized over the video since his face wasn’t shown.
Patapaa was convinced that the video was nothing but a social media gimmick which was only to hype and not to attract the backlash it received.
He opined that, “The video doesn’t show faces. I could even imitate my father Shatta Wale’s voice so the video which is out is not true. My father Shatta Wale would not do anything of the sort.”
A few days ago, an ‘adult’ video of Shatta Wale and another man being ‘serviced’ by a lady ended up on the dancehall artiste’s Snapchat resulting in a public uproar.

The singer took to social media to jab bloggers who circulated the video and threatened to teach them a lesson.
Hours later, he came back to render an apology to all his fans and the bloggers for his early outburst.
He explained that the video was leaked by mistake when he logged into his Snapchat account with his friend’s phone.
Later, Natty Lee, a friend of Shatta Wale, admitted in a Facebook post that he shared the video from his phone and asked to be forgiven for ‘disgracing’ Shatta Wale.
