A young South African lady has defied the odds to become a medical doctor despite coming from a poor home.
In a tweet shared by Twitter user, Advo Hlulani, it was reported that the young lady’s mother was just a cleaner at a hospital but actually managed to support her daughter through her education.
The whole conversation began when another Twiter user wrote that he did not understand how parents manage to put their offspring through school even when they are poor.
In responding, Advo Hlulani wrote: “Parents have magic when it comes to our university fees. They always make things happen.”
The story of the young medical doctor has since inspired many who come from poor homes to go all out to achieve their dreams.
