- Ghanaian celebrity barber makes donations to Osu Children's Home
- For the past decade, Nikki Okyere, from Ghana has offered barbering services to some of the world’s football stars
UK-based Ghanaian barber, Nikki Okyere, has offered to donate to the Osu Children’s Home by giving children at the facility a free haircut.
The popular barber arrived in Ghana a week ago and deemed it fit to share in his talent with underprivileged kids in the capital.
He subsequently gathered about 10 other barbers from across the country as they went to the Osu Children’s Home to deliver wonderful haircuts to the children.
Nikki Okyere owns a barber shop in South London and is known in many parts of the world as the barber who unites top players of the English Premier League, by offering them fresh cuts.
In the past, he has offered barbering services to Anthony Martial, Jordan Ayew, Asamoah Gyan, Mario Manzukic, Marko Arnautovic and many more football stars.
Explaining why he chose to give back to society by offering haircuts to underprivileged children, he said he wish was to put smiles on their faces.
“I believe in giving back. I know I am blessed with my hands and as a barber I can put smiles on someone’s face,” Nikki Okyere told Joy News.
“Me putting smile on someone’s face is something that I love. What you are witnessing right now is something that they have never felt before at the Osu Children’s Home. And so we are breaking the rules and changing the game.”
