The Member of Parliament for Assin Central constituency, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong has disclosed that all exclusive information he has on investigative Journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas were released by his former workers.
According to the MP, some former workers of the journalist are equally peeved by some inhuman treatments meted out to them by their former boss.
Speaking on Oman FM on Tuesday, as monitored by Graphic.com.gh, Kennedy Agyapong stated that Anas who is claiming holier than thou, has in the past exploited many of his own workers to enrich himself, therefore they are aggrieved.
The Assin MP stated that Anas never thought that videos of him disguising himself and working undercover will ever come out, but his own former workers are releasing them to him and he is going to show it to the public.
The NPP MP, who is on a crusade to unmask Anas Aremeyaw Anas, has vowed to expose him in a video evidence dubbed 'Who watches the watchman'.
“His cup is full, he [Anas] never thought that this evidence will come out, now it is out. We have the videos,” Mr Agyapong said.
Kennedy Agyapong has hinted that he has a video evidence, which portrays how Anas conceals evidence against some influential people and embarks on “selective justice” in exchange of huge sums of cash.
Mr Agyapong said his crusade against Anas was to teach everyone a lesson, to not cheat in business dealings.
“Anas’ is in trouble with this dossier landing in my hands, it was as result of a disgruntled co-worker who feels cheated by Anas. He never suspected that such a dossier about him could be used against him one day,” he said.
In whipping up public interest about his video, 'Who watches the watchman' which he intends premiering on Wednesday June 27, the lawmaker reiterated that he was on this whole campaign because he thinks Anas was not a saint and acquired on his properties true dubious means under the pretext of undercover journalism.
“Get it straight, Anas says it with his own mouth when he approach people undercover, this is a gift and later edits them just to show people receiving money. It is a complete enticement and entrapment, that is what I am saying, you will see in the video, Who watches the watchman',” he said.
