Both schools went into the second round separated by just seven points, however, the gap ended up being widened the more.
Mfantsipim amassed an astonishing 31 points leaving both Presec and KNUST Senior High to trail with 11 points each.
Presec gave it a fight in the Problem of The Day section, winning 10 points to Mfantsipim and KNUST SHS’s 3 and 2 respectively – but it was still not enough to crawl them back into the contest.
