Premier League giants Manchester United have announced that Belgium international Marouane Fellaini has signed a new deal at Old Trafford which will make him to be at the club till July 2020.
This latest announcement by the Red Devils via their social media page has now ended all the transfer rumors that the player would leave Manchester United.
The midfielder who is currently in Russia for the 2018 World Cup joined Manchester United in the year 2013, and the 30-year-old had made 156 appearances for the Red Devils.
He has also won the FA Cup, EFL Cup, UEFA Europa League and Community Shield since he got to Manchester United.
Meanwhile, Marouane Fellaini and his teammates at the national team have qualified for the round of 16 at Russia 2018 where they will face Japan on July 2.
All throughout this summer, the expectation has been that Fellaini would seek another club come the 2018/2019 season. Infact, his extension would have come as a shocking move on United's part.
His contract at Old Trafford was due to expire this month.
