- A convoy of Fancy Gadam allegedly collided with a truck in Tamale resulting in a fatal accident
- Eight people are said to be dead while twenty others severely injured
- Fancy Gadam said his heart is heavy
YEN.com.gh reported the rather sad news of Ghanaian musician Fancy Gadam and his team getting involved in a fatal accident.
According to the reports, the ‘Total Cheat’ hitmaker had mobilized some youth of the town to give a rousing welcome to Patoranking, who was on his way to Tamale for a concert.
In all, eight people are reported dead following the clash, while twenty others are seriously injured.
Following this, Fancy Gadam said his heart is heavy.
In a Facebook post sighted by YEN.com.gh, Fancy Gadam said no words can describe how he feels after the incident, indicating that he must be in a terrible mood.
He also disclosed that following the accident, he has postponed his show indefinitely so as to mourn his people.
Fancy Gadam wrote: “My heart is heavy right now, words can’t describe how I feel. I am sorry to announce to you that my show with Patoranking scheduled to come off tomorrow has been postponed indefinitely. I can’t lose my fans and still have the heart to stage a show.”
The self-acclaimed King of Northern Music, Fancy Gadam, was supposed to have a concert with Patoranking on June 30, 2018, at the Tamale Sports Stadium.
But as it stands now, Fancy Gadam would not have the strength to mount the stage as he had already indicated in his post.
Surely, he would need some time to heal his broken heart, and also the heart of the families whose relatives were involved in the accident.
Fancy Gadam’s hit song, ‘Total Cheat’, won the most popular song of the year at the 2018 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
