A man named Yaw Addai Boateng has been jailed for 5 years for selling church equipment to a spiritualist for GHC50.
According to a report by 3news.com, he broke into the premises of the Bethel Presbyterian Church, and made away with some items.
The items stolen and resold to the spiritualist include a television set, amplifier and a compressor.

The Juaso Circuit Court, presided over by Yusif Assibey, consequently ordered that he should be held in prison for five years.
This punishment was given to Boateng, after he had pleaded guilty to the offence of stealing.
The Police Detective, Inspector Princeton Peasah Darkwah, told the court that the incident happened on June 21, this year.
The Pastor in-charge of the church reported the theft to the police and investigations led to Boateng’s arrest at Oforikrom, in Kumasi.
The accused told the police that a friend, whose name he only gave as “Taller” had sought his assistance to find a buyer for the stolen items and which he did.
The items, he claimed, were sold to one Mallam at Asokwa, and said he received GH¢50.00 for leading the said friend to the buyer.
