Premier League giants Manchester United have announced the signing of 35-year-old goalkeeper Lee Grant from Stoke City on a two-year deal.
Last season, the experienced goalkeeper made five appearances for Stoke City, but he was unable to save the club from keeping their Premier League status.

He played against Manchester United in the 2016-2017 season deputizing for the injured Jack Butland including a man of the match performance at Old Trafford in October 2016.
Manchester United signed the Englishman for him to be a cover up for Spain international David De Gea.
“Moving to Manchester United has been a dream of mine for as long as I can remember. This was an opportunity that I couldn’t let pass and I’m thrilled to become a part of such a historic club.
”I’ve enjoyed every moment of my career so far and I’m now ready to continue learning and improving alongside some of the best players in the game. But at the same time, I intend to use my experience to help the team whenever possible,'' Lee Grant told the club's official website.
Grant began his professional career with Derby County making his Football League debut in September 2002.

He spent five seasons with Derby during which time he went out on loan to Burnley and Oldham Athletic.
This will certainly put a spanner in the works for Sergio Romero. The Argentine who is number two to De Gea is reportedly recovering from an injury and looking to stay on at United.
Bwas said to be impressed with Lee Grant's performances last season with Stoke City even though the club eventually lost their Premier League status.
