My weakness is meat stealing – Joseph Yamin confesses

A top ranking member of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Joseph Yamin, has confessed that one of his weakness in life is stealing meat from the kitchen.

According to the former Mahama appointee, most quarrels he had with his mother growing up as a kid had to do with his habit of stealing meat from the soup pot.

Speaking recently in a media interview as monitored by, the former Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports, admitted that the temptation of stealing meat from soup has been so overbearing that he seems to have grown up with it.

The NDC man in his media engagement lamented that he has extended same practice from his mother’s kitchen as a kid, to his wife’s kitchen even at an old age.

Joseph Yamin who also served as the Deputy Coordinator of the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO), under the NDC who was clearly not proud about his 'meat-stealing habit' challenged the youth to eschew acts that will jeopardize their future..

“My weakness is stealing meat. As a child this was the problem I had with my parents. Even at old age, I have extended it to my wife’s kitchen,” report quoted.

The NDC member who is aspiring to be the Ashanti Regional Chairman in his conversation, stated that he is ready to serve his party in all capacities when elected as the chairman.

Yamin also added that he is convinced his years of experience and service to the party will power him to become the NDC’s Ashanti Regional Chairman.
