My ex-wives chose me for my fame – Kwabena Kwabena

Highlife musician Kwabena Kwabena has said that his ex-wives did not marry him out of love, but rather because of his fame.
The ‘Aso’ hitmaker said his past experiences have made him “scared” to enter a new love relationship.
Kwabena Kwabena is a two-time divorcee, having seen his two previous marriages all breakdown.

Speaking to Bola Ray on the Starr Chat show, he said his ex-wives married him not because they loved him but because he is famous.
“For now, I’m scared. I’m scared [Bola],” the singer said.
“The reason why I’m scared is because it is so difficult for a celebrity to get genuine love. It is so difficult.”
He said “it is unfortunate when people come to you out of the fact that you are Kwabena Kwabena,” adding that that was the case with his two ex-wives.
“I can confidently say that both marriages were like that…due to the circumstances by which I met them. Both women are not women I went out there looking for,” he stated.

Kwabena Kwabena also touched on recent reports that the marriage of his manager, Frema Adunyame, collapsed because he was having an unfair with her.
According to him, there is no iota of truth in such reports, describing such thinking as “ridiculous.”
“Who on earth will leave marriage because of another human being? People just want to destroy people and defame people especially when marriages break and somebody is talking.
“It is ridiculous for any human being to say that you left marriage because of a woman or you left marriage because of a man. To me, that’s most unethical,” he retorted.
Also commenting on why he has a tattoo of Ms Adunyame’s nickname on his arm, Kwabena Kwabena said: “The reason is simple. It is to appreciate something that she has done for me.”
