Mayweather however failed to honour his part of the deal and as a result, it became necessary for Zinni Media to renegotiate with him.
The deal was therefore renegotiated to $550,000, and once again, the pugilist breached the terms of the contract.
Mayweather, having failed to turn up for the event also failed to return monies paid to him in respect of the deal.
The plaintiff has therefore filed a suit in a Californian court and is requesting for $2 million in damages.
