I don’t have a boyfriend; I can do everything by myself – Sista Afia

Ghanaian songstress, Francesca Duncan Williams, widely known as Sista Afia has disclosed that she is not in hurry to jump into a relationship with any man.

According to the singer, she is currently single and keeping focus on her music career.

Speaking on Class FM in Accra, Sista Afia stated that she is putting that part of her life on hold because she doesn’t want to be distracted by relationship matters.

To her, she gives her best when she is into a relationship, therefore she doesn’t want it to contribute to her failure in Ghana music.

“I don’t have a boyfriend because I can do all things by myself. When I am in a relationship, it distracts me. When I am in love, I am in love,” she said.

Afia indicated that among all male Ghanaian musicians, the only person she finds sexy, in terms of musical talents, is Kelvyn Boy.

“I will say Kelvyn Boy because he is talented and I’ve actually worked with him in my studio and I know what he can do, he dresses so sexily, not my type of man though, unfortunately, but he’s nice. He’s sexy as in the music-wise,” Sista Afia said.

The hiplife artiste appears to have gained grounds in the Ghana music industry after releasing her first single ‘Jeje’.

The British-born Ghanaian singer, gained recognition following the release of her first track featuring dancehall artist, Shatta Wale and Afezi Perry.
