Information reaching YEN.com.gh indicates that veteran Ghanaian actor, Mac Jordan Amartey has died.
The news of the passing of the experienced actor was confirmed by his son, Dr Amartey.
The actor is reported to have died yesterday, July 5, 2018 around 5 pm.
According to reports, the veteran actor who had been unwell for some time and eventually died at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital Thursday evening.
His family had taken him to the hospital after struggling to get him to eat solid food. He had since been on admission until his death last night.
Mr Ansah, who was taught by the renowned actor at University Primary School said the family is saddened by the death
Mac Jordan Amartey had been in the movie industry for so many years, appearing in the all-time favorite “Idikoko” series, TV Theatre productions and numerous Ghanaian films.
He also starred in Black Star 2 (2006), The Returnee (1995) and Victim of Love 2 (1998).
