Black Stars captain, Asamoah Gyan, will be first to be proud of the man his first son has become.

The teenager has grown with speed and is soon set to match his father's height, which aided the Ghana striker to score crucial goals with his head, including one against Nigeria at AFCON 2010.

Asamoah Gyan's wife, Gifty, is another person who is thrilled by their son's quick growth. She has shared several photos of the teenager on Instagram.

"In love with this pic" was how she captioned one of the photos, which showed how tall the young boy had become.

His mother showered praises on him on his birthday recently, describing him as "a winner" and "my first seed".

"As you turn another year older, take comfort in the fact that there is no such thing as going downhill for overachievers. Instead, look forward to conquering the next level," she wrote on Instagram.

Gyan's two other children have also grown big and strong with speed. The second born is now a "big man".

And nobody could be prouder and happier than their parents, Gyan and Gifty.

In not-too-good news, however, YEN.com.gh earlier reported that Asamoah Gyan could lose a powerful mansion he has put up in East Legon, Accra, due to land litigaton.

According to YEN News' Evans Effah, the legitimate owner of the land on which Gyan's house is situated has tabled documents in court to prove his ownership of the land. After this exercise, the house of the Black Stars player could be demolished, the YEN report stated.
