Security at the ongoing national delegate’s conference of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), at the Eastern Regional Capital, Koforidua cannot be underrated.
According to Peacefmonline.com report, over 3,000 personnel drawn from the NPP vigilante groups, namely Delta and Invisible Forces are safeguarding the security of the executives at the Koforidua Technical University.
Speaking to Peace FM in an interview, the head of NPP internal security, Musa Seidu, revealed that, members of the vigilante groups are beefing up security to ensure the safety of all patrons at the conference.

Musa Seidu, speaking to the media stressed that the over 3,000 security personnel are a mixture of Invisible and Delta Forces drawn from all the ten regions of the country.
However, Musa Seidu disclosed that personnel from the Ghana Police Service, Ghana Armed Forces and the National Security are in charge of security at the conference grounds.
In all, about 6,000 members of the NPP are expected today, Saturday, July 7, 2018, to converge at the Koforidua congress to elect their national executives who will stir the affairs of the party in the next four years.
The National Delegates Conference is being held in pursuant to Article 10 (2) and (3) of the NPP constitution.
