One of the many challenges that most Ghanaian women face is the lack of self- confidence. Unfortunately, Ghana's culture and traditions have over the years subjected women to the kitchen.
Many of which never had the opportunity to acquire a formal education. Even for the unfortunate ones who get the chance to school, they would have to balance the pressures of school with that of their house chores.
To be brief, many Ghanaian women have been chained to the past, that past of thinking that they are secondary to men and society but a young and inspirational woman is hoping to change this narrative with a new plan of helping women and girls boost their confidence in all endeavours of their lives.
This was seen at the Confidence Building Training for fresh female graduates, organized by Equip Hubs in Tamale. The aim of the training was to equip and inform participants with ways of improving self-confidence and credibility as they step into the job market.
According to the Ms Selina Aboyinga, confidence is believing in yourself and knowing your worth as your actions or inactions will bring positive results.
"Having confidence is knowing that you would have said that it is a loose statement but I will not say that because it is is not loose, it is are just great enough to rise above obstacles and failure if there ever come your way," she revealed to YEN.com.gh.
She added that some few tips to boost your confidence include: self-identity, on-going formations, choice of association, body image perception, research/reading books among others.
You too can learn to know yourselves and learn things that would benefit and push up your high self-confidence daily. You need to be the best of yourself for you are a beautiful sweet lady that deserves all the best.
