Watch as money is shared openly at NPP conference in Koforidua

- The NPP has been accused of spending too much on their just ended national conference to elect the party's executives

- A video has emerged online showing the sharing of money at the back of an NPP party pickup in Koforidua during the party's conference

A viral video has popped up on social media showing how monies were shared during the ruling New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) Annual Delegates Conference.

The NPP went to the polls over the weekend to elect its new national executives at a conference hosted in Koforidua in the Eastern region.

Ahead of the delegates congress, photos of GHC10 and GHC50 notes emerged on social media, with the pictures of the two National Chairman aspirants boldly on the bundle.

While the GHC10 notes had Stephen Nitim’s photos on the bundles, the GHC50 notes had that of Freddie Blay.

Earlier, Mr. Ntim had also accused his opponent of “vote-buying,” following Mr. Blay’s purchase of some 275 mini buses for all of the party’s constituencies.

Mr. Blay eventually won, however, it has now emerged that monies were actually shared at the congress ground whiles the elections were ongoing.

In a video that has gone viral, some NPP members are captured busily sharing money at the back of a pick-up car parked at the congress ground.

It is, however, currently unknown which candidate on whose behalf the persons were sharing the money.
