Cristiano Ronaldo agrees deal to join Juventus

- World best footballer Cristiano Ronaldo has completed a move to Juventus

- Last season, Ronaldo was superb as he helped Real Madrid to win the Champions League title

Portugal international Cristiano Ronaldo has joined Italian champions Juventus in a staggering £88m deal.

After the exit of Portugal at the 2018 FIFA World Cup where they were sent out in the round of 16 stages, Cristiano Ronaldo took his family to Greece for holiday before the new season.

Ronaldo who joined Real Madrid from Manchester United in 2008 for a then world record £80 million is the La Liga club's all-time top scorer with 451 goals in all competitions.

He won two La Liga titles and four Champions League trophies during his stay at the Bernabeu stadium with Real Madrid.

"Real Madrid CF communicates that, in response to the will and request expressed by the player Cristiano Ronaldo, he has agreed to transfer to Juventus FC.

"Today, Real Madrid wants to express its gratitude to a player who has proved to be the best in the world and who has marked one of the brightest times in the history of our club and world football,'' Real Madrid said in a statement according to UK Mirror.
