According to them, the act was purely vote buying which was unnecessary, arguing that that money could have been used for something better to help the whole of Ghana rather than just the NPP.

Even rapper Kwaw Kesse who lost his son recently at the Korle-Bu Hospital, has called down curses on Freddy Blay and politicians over the 275 buses.

He believes that the amount of the buses which is alleged to cost over eleven million dollars could have been used to resource hospitals in Ghana.

However, Freddy Blay has said in the video that anyone who questions his gesture is foolish.

According to him, it is only foolish people who do not know that the acquisition of the buses would help the NPP as a party would question his move to buy the buses.

He revealed that the NPP had made arrangement to acquire those buses when they were in opposition.

But because they could not afford then, they had to wait till the party wins power, which it did in 2016.

Far back when we were in opposition we had made arrangement to help the party with the buses but it was difficult and so we couldn’t buy.”

“It had been promised the people long time that each constituency would have a bus so why now? Only foolish people would question this,” Freddy Blay, who has lost his voice obviously because of the conference said in the video.

Freddy Blay has been elected the chairman of the NPP at the just ended conference.
