- Ghanaians trolled Wendy Shay for wearing a one-way curly weave-on on her head since her entrance into the music industry
- But Wendy said she has many of such curly wigs and does not wear the same thing
- Bullet claims the wig has earned her an ambassadorial deal
Bullet, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of RuffTown Records, has revealed that Wendy Shay has earned ambassadorial deal.
Bullet said Wendy’s one-way hairstyle is what actually drew the attention of the company which is desiring to make her their ambassador.
This is contained in a report sighted by YEN.com.gh on Mynewsgh.com
Bullet was reportedly speaking in an interview with Hitz FM.
“It’s her braid and not a wig. She loves curly hair. There is even an endorsement deal coming out. We will announce it soon. It’s coming out trust me,” Bullet is quoted as saying.
This follows many trolls on social media against Wendy Shay that she has worn the same weave-on for over three months.
In many comments sighted by YEN.com.gh on Instagram, the fans were asking her to “at least change her wig for once.”
But Wendy reacted to the trolls, claiming that even though she likes rocking a one-way hairstyle, it is not actually not the same wig.
Her boss Bullet also waded into the controversy, claiming that the one-way hairstyle is actually Wendy’s brand for her music.
Bullet added that since she got trolled for that hair, many people have expressed interest in meeting with Wendy.
“And now people are getting to meet her. You need to maintain a style and when people get to know you then you switch it up. In the beginning that’s how it goes…” Bullet claims.
