Controversial actress, Rosemond Brown, has descended heavily on RuffTown Records artiste, Wendy Shay for what she describes as an attempt by the singer to deceive Ghanaians.
It will be recalled that Wendy Shay has been the subject of social media trolling following rumours that she has been wearing one weave for over three months.
The trolls have been posting pictures of Wendy at major events since she came into the limelight and the hair seems to look exactly the same.
From her being introduced by Rufftown CEO, Bullet at the 2018 VGMAs in April to the video of her first single 'Uber Driver' in June and her recent stage performance, Wendy is spotted in the same hairstyle.
Though Wendy denied the rumours and pointed out that, as a professional nurse, she knows the importance of personal hygiene and thus changes her hair every week but prefers the same style because it is her signature look.
Speaking in an interview on Tuesday, Wendy who is also rumoured to be dating Ebony's boyfriend, explained that her hairstyle was actually crochet braids and not wig as people have been suggesting.
“I actually like the colour black. And I like wearing that because it brings my face shape and because I can actually switch it whichever way I want. I like to be flexible that’s why I like this braids,” she said.
This, however, did not bring an end to the rumours and trolls and in an obvious bid to silence her critics, the RuffTown artise released new photos and a video of herself in a brand new hairstyle.
In the video and photos sighted by YEN.com.gh, Wendy was seen wearing a wine blouse over a blue jeans shorts with a pair of brown high-heeled sandals to match as she posed for a photo with the popular broadcaster Abeiku Santana.
While many of Wendy's fans have been praising her over the new look, Rosemond Brown is claiming that the singer tried to pull a fast one on Ghanaians.
According to her, it was the same black hair Wendy has been wearing which had been dyed to look new.
"Wendy Shay, you think we are kids? No one is kid. Let me tell you, your hair, you've gone to dye it. It's the same black thing you've been wearing. You've not gone to remove it. You've dyed your hair," she fumed.
Speaking in an Instagram video moments after YEN.com.gh broke the news of Wendy's new look, Rosemond revealed that many of the ladies claim to change their looks regularly do not actually buy new hair but only dye the old ones they have.
But Rosemond's attacks seems not to have gone down well with some social media users who have admonished her to mind her own business.
@__tig_tig just wondered "Why somebro ein matter dey worry you see them too dem dey back your stupidness you your time go catch, ano know why people dey mind you sef."
And many others also shared similar sentiments
@steve.glow "Buh how does this concern you??, fame is driving you crazy??"
@pringleadwoaaboagyewaakente "Can’t u mind ur business , u disturbing too much .if she don’t have anything is that ur business awwwww"
Rosemond Brown is an upcoming actress who has gained a lot of media attention for her often controversial social media activity.
She once claimed that rapper Medikal had forcibly slept with her. But it was later realised that it was all part of a publicity stunt.
Recently, she claimed in an interview on The Delay Show that two veteran actors, Fred Amugi and Prince 'Waakye' Yawson had slept with her.
This claim was swiftly debunked by the veteran actors giving credence to reports that the mother of one had been intentionally stirring controversies to remain famous.
It will not be surprising if this attack on Wendy Shay, who is equally the on the showbiz scene, is one of Rosemond's stunts.
